The open slot sits above the drawer on this one, so the top of the table and the slot give you two surfaces at hand height: a lamp on top, the things you reach for every night in the slot, and the rest in the drawer underneath. Softly curved edges and four Nordic-style legs keep a 20 × 20 cm footprint looking light rather than boxy. Available in chestnut or light. If you want the drawer at the top instead, the version with the slot underneath has the same footprint.

What fits on top

Room for a small lamp, or for a book and a glass. A lamp base is usually 12 to 18 cm across and a glass about 9, so 20 cm of width does not take both. Move the light to the wall and the whole top comes back.
