Your right to cancel

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you the right to cancel this contract within 14 days, without giving a reason. The 14 days start on the day after you, or someone you name other than the carrier, receive the goods. If one order arrives in several deliveries, they start on the day after the last one arrives.

To cancel, tell us before those 14 days run out: email hello@bedside-table.co.uk, use the contact form, or write to Bedside Table UK, 60 rue François 1er, 75008 Paris, France. Any clear statement is enough. You can use the model cancellation form below, but you do not have to.

Returning the goods

Send the goods back within 14 days of telling us that you are cancelling. We will confirm the return address before you send anything.

You pay the direct cost of returning the goods, unless the item is faulty, damaged or not as described. Every table we sell travels as an ordinary parcel, so you can send it back with any parcel service.

You are only responsible for a loss in value caused by handling the goods more than was necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, which is the handling you could do in a shop.

Refunds

We refund the price of the goods, and the standard delivery cost where one was charged, within 14 days of receiving the goods back or of receiving proof that you have sent them, whichever comes first. The refund goes to the payment method you used.

Faulty or damaged goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not, you are entitled to a repair, a replacement or a refund, and you do not pay to return them.

If an item arrives damaged, please tell us as soon as you can, ideally within 48 hours, with a photograph of the damage and of the outer box, and keep the packaging until the matter is settled. It helps us claim from the carrier. It does not reduce your rights.
