W 36 × D 26 × H 55 cm. Solid mango wood.

The tall version of our slatted, Japanese-inspired table: 55 cm high with two open shelves inside the frame, so it reaches the side of a higher bed and has two shelves where the lower model has one. No drawers, so everything stays in view. Offered in light or chestnut. If your mattress top is nearer 40 to 50 cm from the floor, the 40 cm single-shelf version is the better height.

Will it fit?

Measure the gap between your bed and the wall at its narrowest point, including the skirting board. This table needs 36 cm of width and 26 cm of depth.

What fits on top

A full lamp, a stack of books and a glass.

Height

At 55 cm tall, it suits a bed whose mattress top sits between 50 and 60 cm off the floor. How to measure that.

Storage

It has 2 open shelves.

How the Kennet 36 cm compares

From the same maker, in the same solid mango wood, in similar sizes. Each line gives the difference in width and height from this one, then the price.

Good to know

The wood. Solid mango wood, finished in chestnut or light. Grain, tone and knots vary from piece to piece, as they do in any solid wood. Finish names describe the colour; the wood is mango. See the full mango wood range.

Assembly. It arrives in parts: the maker lists it as knock-down, so expect some light assembly before use.

Guarantee. Your guarantee is the one UK law gives you: under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, what you buy must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it is not, you are entitled to a repair, a replacement or a refund, and you do not pay to send it back. Returns and faults.

Load. The maker rates it for 30 kg on top and 3 kg on the shelf.

The box. The packed box in the table above is what has to get up the stairs or through a loft hatch, so check it against the tightest turn on the way to the bedroom.
